In 1963,Fara Chi,General Superior of Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary,established Stella Matutina Girls' High School for spreading love from Jesus Christ. The Senior High School,established in 1966,was combined with a junior High School which had been founded three Years earlier, and became a six-year Secondary School for girls. In 1973 , Senior Vocation of Nursing & Midwifery was established. In 1974,The Junior and Senior High music departments were set up,thus making Stella Matutina a comprehensive high school.
